Teen Wing Chun

Teen martial arts is key to improving health, fitness, and self-confidence.

A kwoon is a place of discipline and respect. Teens learn to focus, and develop confidence and determination.

They learn respect for themselves and others.

They learn the dedication and self-discipline involved in practice and study. Over-time they receive the rewards of their growth that mirrors and extends to other areas in their life, and their future.

Teaching teens martial arts through Wing Chun Kung Fu provides the frame work for all of these physical, mental and character benefits.

Teen Classes are available for ages 14-18 year old actively in High School.

Teen Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm, and Saturday at 2:00pm.

Classes are 45-60 minutes in length.

To ensure our Teens get the best attention, and classes are dynamic and engaging, we limit our teen class sizes to 16 students per class.

Are you looking to get your high school child started in Martial Arts?

As you're searching for the right school for your teen, consider asking these questions:

1. Why do I want my teenager to learn martial arts?

2. Is my teenager interested in learning martial arts?

3. What type of martial arts would be best for my teenager?

4. How close is the school to where we live, work, and my teenager goes to school?

5. What are the instructor's qualifications and background?

6. Does the school have a set of values, and do those values align with the ones I want my child to have?

7. Will my teenager be able to grow here?

8. Does this school mix adult and teenager learning in the same class?

9. Will my teenager have fun here?

10. How does the school communicate with parents and students?

Investing in your teenager means asking the right questions, to ensure where you bring them is a place aligned with what you hope your teen will receive at that school. Not every school is there right fit for your teen, and that's ok.

If you're looking to fight in tournaments or get trophies for practicing fancy forms, this isn't the school.

If you're looking for your teen to practice for 3 hours a day. This isn't the school. Between their homework obligations, school activities, and life of a teenager 3 hour practices are not realistic or beneficial.

If you're looking for 1980s Kung Fu cinema style old-school hard knocks training, that isn't necessary, and this is not the place for it.

BUT, if you want your teen to learn to be a good person, feel confident in their abilities to defend themselves, make the right decisions, and how to avoid unnecessary conflict this is the place. If you want your teen to love coming to class, become stronger physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially this is the right school.

If this is what you're looking for, then here's the steps to take to get started.
